Grass Roots is a new initiative in the Southern Presbytery for young emerging leaders in our churches. Grass Roots is a programme designed to help equip emerging leaders in your church to serve and lead in your church community. If you have year 12 and year 13 students in your congregation and you want them to gather with other young leaders and receive input, teaching and mentoring, then please contact us as we would love to sit down with you and talk about how Grass Roots might serve you in your context.
Grass Roots is similar to Going Somewhere, a PYM emerging leadership program that was run for a number of years recently. However, Grass Roots is in a way, replacing Going Somewhere and is hoping to bring together emerging leaders from a range of different denominations. We believe this could serve and equip your young leaders to develop their leadership skills and potential and see a continuing flow of young leaders coming through the ranks in our church.
If you have any questions or want to talk more about what this may look like or how it might work in your community, please don’t hesitate to call or email.
