Children’s Ministry Magazine (Group Publishing) – Children’s Ministry Magazine makes available a variety of free lesson plans that have previously appeared in their magazine for free use in your church, class or home, as well as Bible activities, games, crafts, and more.

Lesson Plans That Work – Revised Common Lectionary (Episcopal Digital Network) – Lesson Plans That Work are weekly  Lectionary-based lesson plans that follow the Revised Common Lectionary for young children, older children, and adults. Intergenerational lesson plans are available at the beginning of each season and for many major feast days throughout the liturgical year. Most lesson plans are based on the Gospel, and some also have an Old Testament Lesson Plan. These lesson plans can be used as written, or they are easy to adapt to reflect the context of your congregation.

Living Well: Christian Practices for Everyday Life (Lifelongfaith Associates) – The Living Well resource includes twelve essential practices for living a Christian way of life: Caring for the Body, Celebrating Life, Discernment, Dying Well, Eating Well, Forgiving, Keeping Sabbath, Managing Household Life, Participating in Community, Praying, Reading the Bible, and Transforming the World. There are learning activities and study guides for each chapter.

Loyola Press Sacraments Center – In this online center there information about the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church: Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Matrimony, and Holy Orders.

Loyola Press Catholic Tradition Center -In the center there is information on the basics of Catholic teachings, Catholic Mass and other Catholic Devotions.

Religious Education Activities (The Religion Teacher) – At The Religion Teacher you can find a large collection of Catholic religious education activities for various liturgical seasons, faith topics, and age levels. The activities on these pages include learning activities, crafts, worksheets, prayer ideas, and more. The website also include lesson plans for teaching about God and the Catholic faith.

St. Mary’s Press Resource Center – St. Mary’s Press offers an extensive (free) resource center with hundreds of digital activities for faith formation with adolescents (middle school and high school) organized the categories below. There are many activities that are focused specifically on Catholic faith formation, but much of the content can be used effectively in all Christian faith formation.

Vibrant Faith at Home (Vibrant Faith) – a multi-age faith formation resource center – young families, teen families, young adults, adults/couples – with hundreds of faith forming activities to equip and empower households to: talk with each other about their faith, pray together, ritualize their important moments, reach out in service and support of others, learn about the Christian faith, and explore and read the Bible.
