WHAT IS OPERATION REFUGEE?

The Operation Refugee fundraising challenge is to survive on the same rations as a Syrian refugee 5 days from 16-20 June 2018 for Adults or any two days between 16-20 June for young people  You will help raise money so refugees who have to live outside the camps have enough to eat. $87 will pay for one food package which will last 15 days. The more money you raise, the more food coupons and packages can be distributed. And by sharing this powerful experience, you can bring the refugee struggle closer to home in a way that’s impossible to ignore. Together we can make a difference for refugees and create a more compassionate world.

WHAT FOOD IS CONTAINED IN THE RATION CHALLENGE KIT?

The Ration Challenge kit is based on the food that a Syrian refugee family receives living in a refugee camp in Jordan or Lebanon – a small amount of rice, split peas, salt, fish, flour and oil.
