A youth worker in NZ for the last 30 years, Neville has now shifted from being a youth pastor to supporting youth pastors throughout NZ. He has a passion to see youth workers well supported and resourced and to see youth effectively equipped to become world changing disciples for Christ. He has worked in many different areas of NZ with different ethnic and socio-economic groups and brings all these years of youth work and church work with him in the training and teaching he provides. He is married to Kerran and they have 3 grown children Hope, Zach and Sam and a recent addition is their son-in-law Eugene. Neville currently lives and works in Wellington.

Dr Sean du Toit (PhD) is the New Testament Lecturer for Alphacrucis. Sean has an exceptional gift for teaching the scriptures. He is especially interested in the general letters in the New Testament, the book of Revelation and the Apostolic Fathers.  He will challenge and inspire us to live lives that are shaped by the gospel. Sean is the husband of Sue and the father of Ava. He’s also an amateur snowboarder and in the summer time enjoys riding his Mongoose BMX.

Taika Waititi has some challenging  things to say about NZ’s approach to race. Let’s take his statement and make it false! As the church is God’s bride, let’s take back the initiative of being teachers and pioneers of social justice and get on the waka with the true bi/multi-cultural move of God in our nation! We will be exploring why and how Tikanga Maori lines up with Biblical Christianity, and then discuss some avenues for integrating it into our respective ministries.

Eugene is the Lower North Island Youth Consultant for Scripture Union. He is hugely passionate about empowering youth pastors and workers in their amazing work, and is always inspired when people are engaging with the difficult questions, especially around biculturalism. Eugene is of mixed parentage, Maori/Samoan/Dutch, and teaches from his own experiences of walking the multi-cultural line, but also has worked in the Church and Community sectors with multi-cultural youth and draws on both experience, study, and relationship to teach on these difficult matters. Eugene’s qualifications are a Diploma in Youth and Community studies majoring in Te Ao Maori in youthwork, and a BA in Commercial Music
